The Horror! Olympic Lip Synching

A couple of days ago, there was some attention paid to the fact that the Olympic opening ceremony in Beijing involved a 9-year old who lip-synched a song performed by a 7-year old.

Whoa nelly, you mean the whole ceremony was a show?

I'll be damned. I thought the whole thing was real.

At the end, I was so certain that the guy with the torch was actually flying around the ceiling of the stadium. Imagine how shocked I was to find out he has suspended from some kind of wire.
